Telus, Remove the Porn

Telus now sells pornography through their cell phones.

Please contact Telus and make a complaint. You can do it here.

With pornography addiction becoming something of an epidemic (just ask your local police department about the geometric increase in sex crimes as pornography has become more and more mainstream), it is rather troubling that Telus would risk the 'PR' simply to make a few hundred thousand dollars more.

If Telus is just thinking about the money, then we should take ours away.

I agree wholeheartedly with you, but http://www.wuwei.ca/journal/2007/02/18/the-porn-and-the-pope/not if the catholic church tells me I should. Telus should show some ethical leadership, but toeing the church line because you're one of the flock is just as dangerous.

Both play the 'me too' game. There are so many good reasons to take a stand against Telus because you believe there's something wrong with them distributing porn, that one shouldn't need blind faith to help them make that decision.
